Located on the North Surrey Downs in the heart of the countryside, Shere is one of the most of the popular and picturesque villages in
Surrey with a great number of visitors sampling the delights of the
village during the summer months.

Founded in 1871 Shere Cricket Club is a friendly and family orientated club with a mixture of young and old members.

Shere CC currently play in the Lords Cricket Balls Surrey Downs Cricket League with a 1st X1 and 2nd X1. These games take place on a
Saturday and venues are within a  15 mile radius of the village. The 2nd X1 won the their league for the very 1st time in 1999.

Friendlies are played on Sundays against local Surrey villages and this year we have entered the National Village Cricket Competition, with the final taking place at the home of cricket !!.

Social events are held throughout the year ending with a presentation dinner in November.
